We specialise in servicing and mechanical repairs of water-cooled Volkswagen, Audi and VW based Seat and Skoda cars.

The garage has been operating from the premises for over 30 years. We have a loyal customer base of around 2000, all of which come by recommendation. We offer a good honest and reliable service at well below main agent labour rates. We have a large parts department stocking quality parts so most cars are repaired on the same day.

A brief history of P.M. Pfeiffer & Associates

Peter Pfeiffer started the business in 1968 having been a Volkswagen trained mechanic and foreman at Prestwich Motors, a Hove based VW agent. He teamed up with Roy Couttes and moved from Shirley Street to Westbourne Place in the early 70's. They were then joined by Heinz Nieber who had worked in the VW factory in Germany as well as agents in the UK. Over the years Gary Hudson, David Hemsley and Ian Murray joined the business, all of whom were Volkswagen trained.
Roy retired, then Peter in 2001 and Heinz a year later. Gary, David and Ian took over and renamed the business "Pfeiffer Partnership". We currently employ Alec a mechanic and Kevin who runs the office for us.
